Supporting Springboards Trek In Nicaragua

The Springboard Charity’s 30th Anniversary TREK '20: Nicaragua

From March 21st  April 1st 2020, 30 fundraisers are heading off on an adventure to transform lives as part of a community outreach project, providing life-changing relief to the local people of Rota, Nicaragua, whilst supporting Springboard beneficiaries across the UK. Our fundraisers are taking on the challenge of four immense volcano and mountain hikes, as well as the transformative project at the local school for the villagers of Rota

The Springboard Charity will use the funds raised by sponsors to help people with barriers to employment embark on viable career paths in the hospitality industry. The Springboard Charity is a registered charity (charity number: 1045411 (England & Wales) SC040506 (Scotland) Registered Company Number: 3031621)

Each fundraiser has pledged to raise £3,500 for the Springboard Charity and are relying on kind donors to support their efforts. This is in addition to the cost of flights, meals, accommodation, guides, transportation and involvement in the community project, which is funded by the participant. We hope that you will support them to accomplish these worthwhile goals and to continue our important work here in the UK.

We are extremely pleased that Antony Ward of Bite Hospitality is taking part in the trek and has committed to raising funds for the cause. This is the second time that Antony has raised money and taken part in an expedition for Springboard haven travelled to the Himalayas and Little Tibet back in 2014.
